Rev. John M. Henniger, Senior Pastor
Columbia is pleased to present Rev. John M. Henniger as our new pastor. He has been in full-time ministry for 27 years. Rev. Henniger comes to us from the Baptist church, where he has held several job positions.

He has been the Pastor of Family Ministries, a Senior Pastor, an Interim Pastor, and a Minister of Education. He was the chaplain for two local High School football teams, he has been a speaker at youth camps across the country, and he has worked with people of all ages. He has taken mission teams to Korea, Australia, Mexico, and Haiti.
He is married to Deborah and they have two boys, John Mark and Joshua. Pastor John may be contacted at

Rev. Ralph Young Pastor Emeritus                                 (minister from 12/71-4/98)
  Rev. Young graduated from the     
Berkeley Baptist Divinity School. He came to us from a pastorate in Alliance with his

wife Adelaide and their four children. During his 26 years of service, Rev. Young fulfilled his commitment to the congregation and was an encouraging and caring minister to the needs of the members. He had a special relationship with the youth of the church and taught a number of confirmation classes which helped the growth of the church. Under his leadership, a number of church committees were formed and their activities have been essential to the effective advancement of the church.
